ABCA/Turface announce Field Maintenance Award & Scholarship recipients

The 2018-19 ABCA/Turface Athletics Field Maintenance Award and Scholarships have been announced in both the college and high school divisions. Presented by Turface and the ABCA since 1995, the Field Maintenance Award recipients receive a plaque recognizing excellence in field maintenance, plus one ton of Turface MVP and $400 to be spent on maintenance equipment from Turface Athletics. The Field Maintenance Scholarship recipients receive three tons of Turface MVP as well as $250 each of the next two years for field maintenance equipment from Turface Athletics. Collegiate and high school programs can apply for the awards and scholarships annually.

This year's honorees for the Field Maintenance Award are Truman State University (Mo.) as well as Fellowship Christian School (Ga.) and Heard County School (Ga.). The recipients of the Field Maintenance Scholarship are SUNY Cortland (N.Y.), Bakersfield Christian High School (Calif.) and Heritage High School (Wash.).

These schools will be recognized in the clinic hall on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019 at the 75th annual ABCA Convention.
