BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (October 31, 2012) — Profile Products has announced the hiring of Tracey Hawkins as the company’s market development manager of sports fields for its western United States region. 

“Tracey has utilized her turfgrass management skills with great success in the golf industry and we’re excited to see that knowledge applied in order to grow our sports field division,” said Wally Butman, vice president of sales for Profile Products.



As market development manager, Hawkins will be responsible for driving increased use of the Turface Athletics™ brand of sports field products by working with end-users and specifiers. Her focus will include the construction, renovation, and maintenance of baseball, softball, soccer and football fields. Additionally, she will support Profile's golf course construction and maintenance business in the western United States.



Hawkins has worked in the golf industry throughout her career, most recently as an assistant superintendent at Glendale Country Club in Bellevue, Wash. Hawkins also spent several years in Eagle, Colo., working as an assistant superintendent at Eagle Ranch Golf Club.



She received her degree in turfgrass management from Michigan State University.



Originally from Brighton, Mich., Hawkins will be based in the Seattle area, where she resides with her husband, who is a golf course superintendent.
