BUFFALO GROVE, ILL. – Turface Athletics™ continued its support of the Texas Sports Turf Managers Association as a Gold Sponsor of the Region 3 Field Day at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.  

Turf managers toured the home of Major League Baseball’s Houston Astros, and gained some insights on field maintenance from the Astros grounds crew. After the on-the-field events wrapped, TXSTMA members were able to take part in sponsor demonstrations, new product introductions and expert seminars on sports field management and fertilizer programs. 

“Turface Athletics is proud to support the TXSTMA and its efforts to develop and share new ways to better manage and maintain sports fields,” said Jeff Langner, brand manager for Turface Athletics. “By sponsoring events like this at Minute Maid Park, we hope to help turf managers share their best practices, learn more about their craft and help make playing fields across the state better for the youth and adults who enjoy them.”
